Canadian MP William Amos, representing the municipality of Pontiac in the province of Quebec, appeared naked during an online meeting of the House of Commons.
In the footage, Amos stands between the flags of Canada and Quebec, hiding behind a mobile phone.
Later, the deputy in an e-mail apologized to his colleagues for “his unfortunate mistake.”
“I sincerely apologize to colleagues in the House of Commons, the video broadcast accidentally turned on while I was changing into my work suit after a run. This will not happen again,”
he wrote.
Colleagues called on the parliamentarian to be vigilant when he is near the camera and computer microphone.
